2. Eligibility

To use our Services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old; or

  • If under 18, your parent or legal guardian must agree to these Terms and supervise all use of the Services.

We reserve the right to refuse service to any individual at our discretion.

3. Nature of the Services

We provide tutoring and educational support in selected subjects.
Tutors may be employees, partners, or independent contractors.
We do not guarantee specific academic results, grades, or outcomes.

4. Booking and Cancellations

4.1 Booking

Sessions must be booked via our website or directly through our team.

4.2 Cancellations and Refunds

  • Clients may cancel a session at least 24 hours before the scheduled time for a full refund or credit.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours may be fully chargeable.

  • If a tutor cancels, clients will be offered a replacement session or full refund.

  • Packages or subscriptions may have separate cancellation rules, communicated at purchase.

5. Payments

  • All prices are displayed in GBP.

  • Payment must be made in advance unless stated otherwise.

  • We use third-party payment processors; you agree to their terms upon payment.

  • We may suspend or cancel Services if payment fails or is disputed.

6. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when registering or booking.

  • Ensure a suitable, safe environment for tutoring sessions (online or in person).

  • Not record sessions without the tutor’s and our explicit consent.

  • Not misuse or distribute any learning materials provided.

Parents are responsible for ensuring the safety of minors during sessions.

7. Tutor Responsibilities

Tutors must:

  • Provide tutoring to a professional standard.

  • Arrive on time and prepared.

  • Maintain appropriate conduct and adhere to safeguarding rules.

  • Report any safeguarding concerns to us immediately.

8. Safeguarding and Child Protection

We take the safety of young learners seriously.

  • Tutors working with minors may be required to undergo DBS checks.

  • Sessions with minors must be supervised by a parent or guardian unless agreed otherwise.

  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any tutor or client account for safeguarding risks or inappropriate behaviour.

9. Intellectual Property

All content provided by us (materials, exercises, videos, documents, etc.) is protected by copyright.

You must not:

  • Copy

  • Distribute

  • Sell

  • Modify

  • Publish
    any materials without our written consent.

Tutors retain rights to materials they independently create unless transferred to us by agreement.

10. Limitations of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by UK law:

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.

  • We are not responsible for academic results or performance.

  • We are not liable for issues arising from third-party platforms (e.g., video conferencing software).

  • We are not responsible for client equipment, internet connectivity, or technical problems.

Our total liability to any client shall not exceed the total amount paid in the 3 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for:

  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation

  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence

  • Any liability which cannot legally be excluded

11. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your login details secure

  • All activity under your account

  • Informing us of any unauthorised use

We may suspend or delete accounts for misuse or breaches of these Terms.

12. Code of Conduct

Clients and tutors agree to:

  • Treat each other respectfully

  • Not engage in abusive, discriminatory, or inappropriate behaviour

  • Not solicit off-platform tutoring if the tutor is contracted through us (unless permitted)

  • Not use the Services for illegal or harmful purposes

13. Data Protection (GDPR & UK Law)

We process personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

Clients acknowledge that:

  • Certain information must be shared with tutors to deliver the service

  • We may retain minimal necessary records for legal and administrative reasons

  • Clients may exercise their data rights at any time

14. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party providers such as:

  • Payment processors

  • Video conferencing tools

  • Communication platforms

We are not responsible for their performance or security but take reasonable steps to vet providers.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to our Services if you:

  • Breach these Terms

  • Provide false information

  • Behave inappropriately toward tutors or staff

  • Misuse the platform

Upon termination:

  • You lose access to your account and materials

  • Outstanding fees remain payable

  • No refunds will be issued unless legally required or otherwise provided for in our refund policy

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in law or our business practices.

Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
